Chronicle of war:

Veterans responses

Ostryanina Valentina Maksimovna

Ostryanina Valentina Maksimovna Ostryanina Valentina Maksimovna always extends us a warm welcome. A heart-to-heart talk with the home-baked cookies has become a tradition. Over 60 years have already passed, but we will never forget those war years: “Even now I can assemble shell detonators”, - Valentina Maksimovna says. With tears in her eyes she tells us how they, the then teenagers, gave everything for the victory over the fascist conquers. Once her shoes were absolutely worn out. So, she tied the sole with a rope and went to her work tough it was winter. She remembers how because of the flaming of static electricity she could have her finger shot off. She tells about the sabotage that took place in the factory and took away lives of a great number of teenagers. Of course we can hardly compare all these with the feat accomplished by our soldiers who had been fighting on the frontline, but still do not forget that it was just children. Valentina Maksimovna expresses her gratitude to the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, Shaburov Aleksey Yurievich, and thanks them for the kindness and souvenirs. She spent almost all her postwar life in Donetsk. But still, for some reasons, their generation did not get deserved attention.

I would like to express my gratitude to the leadership of Sokolniki for the attention thei pay to veterans. It's incredibly meltingly to feel Your care. I accept Your congratulations not just as a reward for me personally, but respect and recognition of work of my generation graduated from school in June 1941. We won that war, and defended the peaceful life for You, this generation – our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And we are happy now that You so carefully treat the history of our country and take care of us, veterans.

Dear Alexey Yurievich, heartfelt thanks for Your concern and good health to You! Success and prosperity to Sokolniki!

Dear Aleksey Yurievich!

I would like to thank you for your kind thought to me – the veteran of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 and the veteran of work who gave all his power and health for the reconstruction of our country.
Taking opportunity I would like to express infinite gratitude to our president – Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. He did not allow to forget and to play down the significance of our victory for the whole world. Millions of Russian soldiers and officers paid very high price for this triumph.
We will always remember their feat!
Thank you and your team for patriotism and cordial share in lives of veterans.

My best cordial regards and wishes, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Moklyak Anatoly Andreevich.

I would like to express my thanks to Management and Administration of ECC Sokolniki for their kindness for all veterans. I am so happy that not only our close people remember about us. I did not fight on the frontline but we - teenagers, workers of a rear areas - had been through it as well. People not just lived their lives they did it for victory! We looked forward for it and believed in it. It is hard to explain this feeling of hope in contempt of everything. It seems sometimes that we are not relevant any more. People respect us but we are of little help now. But what about our victory? Does it mean nothing? Thank you for your reminder of our contribution into the present life, the life without that horrible war which stole five long years of our lives.

Best regards, Palesheva Zhanna Gvidonovna.

Safina Anna Savelievna

Safina Anna Savelievna Dear Aleksey Yurievich!
On behalf of all veterans of the Great Patriotic War I wish to pay my tribute to you for your kindness.
We worked in a rear areas, fought in frontlines. We protected our country, the future of our grandchildren. And today I am happy to feel care of those people for whose well-being we wrestled. God bless you and your relatives. I wish you health and well-being. Thank you for your kind thought of us.

Zelenchuk Anna Dmitrievna

Zelenchuk Anna Dmitrievna Dear Aleksey Yurievich!
We owe you our best thanks for all you have done for the veterans. In those hard years everyone tried to make a contribution to the fight with the Nazis conquers. But not everyone could come back home. Nowadays the number of veterans is steadily running down. But we are glad to know that the new generation remembers and appreciates the feat of our victory.
Please, accept our best wishes of health, well-being, and prosperity to you and your company!
The Zelenchuks. The Puhovs.

Shorohova Irina Ivanovna

 Shorohova Irina Ivanovna
Kindly accept this expression of my cordial thanks for your kindness and care.
On March, 4 my first great-grandson was born. And on March, 7 I got a parcel from Moscow. It was congratulation on the International Women’s Day. I was happy twice as much. It is so good that there are still such people who are not indifferent to us, to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The government of our town does not forget about us. We get money for the Victory Day – 200 rubles.
Aleksey Yurievich, let God bless you for you kindness.
My best regards, Shorohova Irina Ivanovna.

 Andrusenko Lev Seraphimovich

Dear Aleksey Yurievich!

Please, accept my cordial gratitude for the presents for the New Year and Defender of the Motherland Day.
It is especially important for the elderly person who passed the way from the soldier to the colonel. I have the Great Patriotic War, severe frontier service (the frontiers with Far East, Kuril Islands, Kamchatka, Chukotski Peninsular, west frontiers of our Great Country) behind. We hope that such a terrible event as the Great Patriotic War will never happen again.
We are glad to see the alliance of Russia and Belorussia.
We are gratified that the historical traditions are coming back: War Parades on the Red Square, devoted to the Victory Day. Starting 50-s of the 20th century I took part in such parades. We are happy for our children and grandchildren who are worthy of our victories.
We wish you health, happiness, and prosperity!
Best regards, Andrusenko Lev Seraphimovich.

Sergey Iiych and Alexandra Nikolaevna Neustroevy

Sergey Iiych and Alexandra Nikolaevna Neustroev We, the Soviet young people, were the patriots of our Fatherland! We were young Communists. Our party summons us to the defense of our country, to give everything for the victory over the enemy. We suffered from hunger. But we had strong characters. The management of our factory organized lessons for us in nursing school. After graduation we helped wounded soldiers in hospitals. We tried to encourage them. We could be sent on the frontline at every moment. When I was 18 I was offered an important office – Chief of the access control department at the factory “Sharikopodshipnik”. I had to take this office because the man was sent to the front. At the end of the war I was offered an office of the instructor of comsomol district committee. The main direction was the work with young people. After the war I was medaled for the conscientious work during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. then I got married. I and my husband are still together and we are really happy. We would like to thank you for your kindness and for the words which were addressed to us. Let God bless you in all your endeavors.
