November 02nd, 1944 In the course of November 2, our troops, fighting north and west of the Hungarian town of NYIREGYHAZA, completely cleared the enemy from the left bank of the TISZA River as a result of offensive battles, seizing the town and railroad station of BUDSZENTMIHALY, the large settlements and railroad stations of TISZADADA, TISZADOB, POLGAR. November 03rd, 1944 On November 3, the Red Army was repulsing the attacks of enemy infantry and tanks north and south of the East Prussian town of Goldap, inflicting the enemy heavy losses in personnel and materiel. Capitalizing on the success on the Budapest approach between the Danube and the Tisza, our forces drove the enemy out of over 100 localities, including such major ones, as Toszeg, Erkeny, Dion, Alsodabas, Ujhartyan, Sari, Alsonemegy, Bug... November 04th, 1944 In the course of November 4, in EASTERN PRUSSIA, north and south of the town of GOLDAP, our troops successfully repelled attacks by enemy infantry and tanks and improved their positions by counterattacking. November 05th, 1944 In the course of November 5, north and south of the town of Goldap in Eastern Prussia, our troops repelled attacks by large enemy infantry and tank forces, inflicting on them heavy losses in manpower and materiel. November 06th, 1944 In the course of November 6, there were no considerable changes on the fronts. On November 5, our troops disabled and destroyed 16 German tanks on all fronts. November 07th, 1944 In the course of November 7, the situation did not change considerably on the fronts. On November 6, our troops disabled and destroyed 15 German tanks in local fighting. November 08th, 1944 In the course of November 8, the situation did not change considerably on the fronts. November 10th, 1944 In the course of November 10, our troops, fighting between the TISZA and DANUBE Rivers, took by force several settlements, including HEJOBABA, HEJOPAPA, MARGIT, BORSODSZMERE, TARNASZENTMIKLOS, PALMAJOR, PILIS and the railroad station of Csincsetanya. Our troops thus cut the BUDAPEST-MISKOLC railroad. On November 8 and 9, our troops, fighting between the TISZA and DANUBE Rivers, took 4,100 Hungarian and German men and officers prisoner. November 12nd, 1944 In the course of November 12, our troops, fighting in Hungary, took by force the town and railroad station of MEZOKOVESD, the town and railroad station of MONOR and seized over 30 other settlements, including the large settlements of GYORGY, JANOSHIDA, ALATTYAN, TAPIOGYORGYE, TAPIOSZELE, REKETTYESI, FARMOS, SOROG and the railroad stations of KISMEGERY, TAPIOSZELE, FARMOS, BOLDOGHAZA. November 13rd, 1944 In the course of November 13, our troops, fighting in Hungary, took by force the town and railroad station of JASZAPATI and seized several other settlements, including JASZKISER, JACZMAHALTILEK, TAPIOSZENTMARTON, TAPIOBICSKE, PAND, KAVA, ZSIGERY, BENYE and the railroad stations of PUSZTAKURT, JASZKISER. November 14th, 1944 In the course of November 14, our troops, fighting in Hungary, seized the town and railroad station of NAGYKATA and took over 30 other settlements, including HEVESVEZEKENY, PUSZTACZASZ, SZENTMARTONNATA, TAPIOSAG, URI, PETERI and the railroad stations of NAGYHALOM, SZENTMARTONKATA. Fighting south of BUDAPEST, our troops eliminated an enemy bridgehead on the eastern bank of the DANUBE River, seizing the town and railroad station of SOLT and the settlement of DUNAEGYHAZA. November 15th, 1944 In the course of November 15, our troops, fighting in Hungary, took by force the town and railroad station of JACZBERENY and seized over 50 other settlements, including the large settlements of SZEDERKENY, KOROM, EMOD. November 19th, 1944 In the course of November 19, our troops, fighting in Hungary, took by force the town and railroad station of GYONGYOS and seized several other settlements, including GORNADKEK, GOROMBOLY, TOFALU, VECSY, HEVESURGA, BOLDOG, GALGAHEVIZ. November 20th, 1944 In the course of November 20, our troops, fighting in Hungary, took by force several other settlements, including CSANALOS, GESZTELY, SZIRMA, CSABA, DIOSGYOR, OSTOROS, EGERSZALOK, DEMJEN, DOMOSZLO, MARKACS, VISONTA and the railroad station of KISTALYA. November 21st, 1944 On the island of SAREMA (EZEL), our troops, following a powerful artillery bombardment, broke through the enemy’s fortified defenses in the narrow part of the southern extremity of the island and, continuing offensive and following stubborn fighting, took the settlements of RACHUSTE, KAIMRE, NISUMA, INDU, KAUNISPA, LOOPOLLU, VINTRI, INGELANDI, HEJNAMA, KARGI, KOLTSI, JAMAA, OCHESARE, MASSA, MOJZA, TORKEN, SODEVACHE, JARZI, KAVI. November 22nd, 1944 In the course of November 22, our troops in Hungary took by force settlements EGERSZOLAT, GYONGYOSOROSZI, GYONGYOSTARJAN, PUSPOKI, NAGYREDE, and HEVIZGYORK. On the other sectors of the front, there were scout missions and some local fighting. November 23rd, 1944 In the course of November 23, on the island of SAREMA (EZEL), our troops fought battles to eliminate an enemy group in the southern extremity of the island and took the fortified strongholds of TURJE, IDE and MAEBE. November 24th, 1944 On November 24, troops of the Leningrad Front, supported by the Red Banner Baltic Fleet, following fierce fighting, finally removed the enemy from the island of SAREMA (EZEL), which had been turned by the Nazis into a strongpoint closing the approaches to the Gulf of Riga. The territory of Soviet ESTONIA was thereby completely liberated from the Nazi invaders. November 25th, 1944 In the course of November 25, our troops, fighting west and northwest of the town of CHOP in CZECHOSLOVAKIA, took by force the settlements of NEMECKA PORUBA, JOVSA, KUSIN, KLOCKOV, GAZEN, JASTRIBE, INACOVCE, BOTANI, MALE and VEL’KI TARKAN. November 26th, 1944 On November 26, troops of the Fourth UKRAINIAN Front, seized in Czechoslovakia the towns of MICHALOVCE and HUMENNE, important enemy communications centers and defensive strongholds, and took by force over 60 other settlements, including HORBOK CZABINA, PAPIN, ZUBNE, SNINA, UDAVSKE, KAMENICA, MYSLINA, VINNE, ZBUDZA, LASTOMIR, BUDKOVCE, BESA, LESLES and the railroad stations of HORBOK, CZABINA, SNINA, CIROCKE DLUHE, BUDKOVCE. November 29th, 1944 Troops of the Third UKRAINIAN Front, going into the offensive, forced the DANUBE north of the DRAVA River, pierced the enemy defenses on the western bank of the DANUBE and advancing to a depth of 40 km, expanded the frontage of penetration to up to 150 km.
